Marching Towards a Moderately Prosperous Society

To celebrate the comprehensive achievement of building a moderately prosperous society, to advance development with renewed energy and dedication, to fight poverty, and to realize the dream of a moderately prosperous society, the China Xiaokang Construction Research Association and the Beijing Tongchuang Party Development Center brought together a number of county-level units from across the country that have made notable progress in developing prosperous industries and advancing cultural and social development under strong and effective leadership. Their achievements and experiences have been compiled into a book entitled Marching Towards a Moderately Prosperous Society.

The book introduces the best experiences and innovative practices of China’s grassroots county-level units in the process of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. It highlights the remarkable achievements China has made in realizing a moderately prosperous society and pays tribute to the country’s comprehensive efforts to achieve this historic goal.

Marching Towards a Moderately Prosperous Society was jointly compiled by the China Xiaokang Construction Research Association and the Beijing Tongchuang Party Development Center. The book covers eleven counties and districts, including Leting County in Hebei Province, Yinzhou District in Zhejiang Province, and Huayuan County in Hunan Province, among others.

The book presents the development and accomplishments, highlights and experiences, achievements and distinctive characteristics of these areas in the comprehensive advancement of a moderately prosperous society. It also provides an overview of their distinctive industries, natural resources, and tourism resources. The book contains a wealth of valuable information worthy of study and reference.

From different perspectives and at multiple levels, the book provides a comprehensive and multidimensional account of the achievements and experiences of grassroots counties in advancing the construction of a moderately prosperous society in all respects under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. In particular, guided by the 18th and 19th National Congresses of the Communist Party of China and by the important speeches of General Secretary Xi Jinping on poverty alleviation and the building of a moderately prosperous society, the book demonstrates China’s remarkable and significant achievements in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.

At the same time, the book provides useful references and ideas for the development of grassroots counties. It seeks to further advance the comprehensive development of a prosperous society, encourage even greater achievements, and inspire people throughout the country to work diligently toward realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation at the earliest possible date.
